How to Give

There are several ways of giving that can help Nikau Foundation help your region. Donations can be from as little as $10 up to a substantial sum – you can give a one off amount or a regular gift.

Your money will be invested and only the income will be distributed. For a copy of Nikau foundation’s Investment Policy please contact brian@nikaufoundation.org.nz.

Your gift will last forever.

Your region includes: Wellington, Hutt Valley, Porirua, Kapiti Coast (to Otaki) and Southern Wairarapa (to Masterton). You can dedicate your gift to a particular area if you wish.

 

You can make a difference

Community foundations are making a lasting difference to the lives of people. You can help with that.

All donations go to building a vibrant and caring community. Donations can be general or they can go toward a specific project.

You can help now; you can help later; you can give as you earn; you can leave a legacy.

You can offer goods and services — from professional and legal expertise to printing and publishing services.

You can benefit your company by offering sponsorships or creating a permanent fund which we manage for you. We can remove the burden of assessing, distributing and administering grants on your behalf.

It's our home

Many people want to give something back to the region they call home.

Here in the Wellington region we have inherited so much from those who came before us. The foundation provides a way of turning that inheritance into a legacy for our next generation.

Giving through a community foundation means you are giving locally and making a lasting impact.

The foundation exists in perpetuity and has the flexibility to adapt to meet the intent of the donor and the changing needs of the region.
