Establishing a Named Endowment Fund
Establishing your own fund is a way of ensuring that your charitable purpose is supported in perpetuity.
A Nikau named endowment fund is easier and less expensive than starting your own private charitable trust. When you establish your own endowment fund your charitable purpose receives annual income while the capital is maintained by Nikau forever. Further, you are relieved of all the usual overheads such as accounts, tax, audit, charitable registration and investment management.
Your fund that can be named after the donor, the donor’s family, a business or in memory of a special person. Income can be distributed to any geographic area within our region or any cause that the donor wishes. Multiple options are available.
Generally this is for a contribution greater than $75,000 – we are flexible and this amount may be contributed over a period. Please discuss your options with us.
