It is my great delight to announce Nikau Foundation’s new Executive Director Alice Montague.

Alice is originally from the UK, but has lived in New Zealand since 2011, and now resides in Eastbourne, Lower Hutt. Her successful leadership, philanthropy and fundraising experience mean that she will hit the ground running, and her background in marketing and communications will ensure that our organisation and our impact will continue to grow strongly.

Alice is the co-Chair of the Fundraising Institute of New Zealand (FINZ) and has a strong commitment to making a contribution to our Wellington Communities. She will commence her new role full-time as of April 15th.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our outgoing interim General Manager Joy Tracey for her commitment to keeping things running following the departure of Louise Parkin to the UK at the start of the year. Joy will now join us as a Trustee. I would also like to thank our office staff for demonstrating their hard work and dedication to Nikau Foundation throughout these past few months.

We welcome Alice to Nikau and look forward to introducing her to you all.

Kind regards,

Chris Milne
